All New KIA Picanto Tidak Cocok dengan Premium

Jakarta - Gejala mesin mobil ngelitik ternyata tidak hanya dialami mobil lawas, mobil baru pun kemungkinan bisa ngelitik. Seperti yang dialami salah satu Otolovers yang memiliki mobil KIA Picanto.

All New KIA Picanto tersebut mengalami engine knocking atau detonasi (lebih dikenal istilah mesin ngelitik) ketika mobil diminumkan bahan bakar minyak RON 88 (premium).

"Mobilnya baru 40 Km, dan memakai Premium," ujar Doni, warga Bekasi.

BBM premium ia pikir cocok karena melihat kapasitas mesin KIA Picanto 1.248 cc. Namun faktanya mesin mobil ngelitik. "Waktu saya menggunakan Pertamax, gejala itu hilang, apa Picanto tidak cocok pakai Premium ya?" tanyanya.

Dirinya pun langsung browsing di internet untuk mencari tahu tentang mesin Picanto baru. "Saya kagetnya ternyata mesin kompresinya sudah 10:1. Itu kan sebenarnya harus memakai Pertamax, kok saya tidak diberi tahu diler ya," ujarnya.

Ketika dikonfirmasi ke pihak PT KIA Mobil Indonesia, All New Picanto dinilai masih cocok menggunakan bahan bakar Premium.

"Sebenarnya All New Picanto bisa pakai Premium, tidak masalah," kata Manajer Komunikasi dan Pemasaran PT KIA Mobil Indonesia, Ridjal Mulyadi.

Ridjal sendiri mengaku tidak mengetahui penyebabnya, dan hingga kini PT KMI belum menerima adanya keluhan ngelitik dari konsumen. "Sampai sekarang belum ada konsumen yang complaint," ujar Ridjal.

All New Picanto dilengkapi dengan mesin Dual CVVT 1.200 cc DOHC yang mampu mengeluarkan tenaga 87 PS pada 6.000 rpm dan torsi 12.3 kg.m pada 4.000 rpm.
