  Konstruksi Mesin Diesel - Konstruksi mesin diesel pada umumnya memiliki keutamaan yang menonjol Dari perbandingan mesin bensin sebagai contoh pada mesin diesel terdapat bagian-bagian komponen yang tentunya tidak dimiliki oleh mesin bensin seperti ada glow plug jika kita kaitkan dengan mesin bensin ini diibaratkannya adalah busi sebagai mana halnya busi pada mesin bensin yang berfungsi pada sistem pengapian untuk memercikan bunga api listrik. berkaitan dengan mesin diesel dengan tidak adanya sistem pengapian sehingga glow plug ini berfungsi sebagai pemanas saja. Yaitu memanaskan ruang bakar hingga mencapai suhu tertentu. Komponen ini hampir mirip dengan solder namun glow plug kualitas element pemanasnya lebih tinggi.
